MEET LACEY MAXWELL

Hi, my name is Lacey Maxwell and I am the owner and lead artist of 805 Makeup. From a very early age, I was an artist; I was inspired by my relatives who practiced art, and by the creative culture of my hometown, Ojai, California. Knowing this, I enrolled and graduated from The Lu Ross Academy and received my cosmetology license upon completion of high school, and soon went on to work for one of the world’s leading professional makeup authorities, MAC Cosmetics.

After jumpstarting my makeup career in 2006 as an artist with MAC, I have since received some of best training from celebrity makeup artists such as John Stapleton, Patrick Ta, and Lyndsay Zavitz. I was recently awarded best makeup artist by California Wedding Day Magazine and had my work featured in many major publications such as US Weekly, Brides, C Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, and Santa Barbara Magazine. My work can also be seen on popular blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Sparrow, and Ruffled to name a few.

Having over a decade of makeup artistry experience under my belt, my extensive knowledge has allowed me to master the art of enhancing one’s natural beauty. My exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and years of experience make me a highly desired artist for all of your beauty and bridal needs.

Want an instant eye lift? Draw an arch directly above your eyebrow with your favorite highlighter, and blend with a brush or your finger. This makes your arch look raised, making the whole eye area look like it’s been lifted
